CTND Carpet Fitting Kits are ideal for those who may not have the correct tools at hand for the job. The kit includes nine pieces. Probably the most important being the fixed blade utility knife, this makes cutting the carpet tiles easier and safer than with the normal retractable knives. Also in the kit is a high impact trim safety holster for your knife, it comes with a sturdy belt clip, keeping the knife at hand when not in use, and is made from strong, reinforced plastic. To cut the carpet tiles you will need a ruler, we have included the best that we could find. The contoured D shaped handle keeps fingers well away from the blades and its strong aluminium body allows for a clean straight cut, to help you further is the integrated level.

Before you start to cut your carpet tiles for laying, the area must be prepared. Here we can help also, our kit includes a soft lead carpenter's pencil to aid with the marking out process. For measuring we supply a 5 meter (16ft) auto lock tape measure, it has a hardened steel 19mm wide blade, displaying both metric and imperial measurements. To mark out, we include a 30m (100ft) self chalking line in a lightweight aluminium body, fitted with a foldaway self-winding handle. So that you can use the line straight away, we also add a separate bottle of chalk powder. Last but not least we include a set of 3 heavy duty blades for your knife (The blades are stored safely inside the body of the knife). Now you should have everything you need.
